I drew concepts in pencil, 9" x 12".

Next, I made an 18" x 24" study in pencil, then ink.

Then I photographed the study, and used an iPad painting program to re-draw it digitally. I added details, colors, shadows, and more.  I spent over 80 hours and made over 80,000 brush strokes on the iPad program alone!
